Founded in 2015 by industry veterans and brothers James (Jimmy) Roark and Marvin Roark, JMR Services emerged with a clear vision: to address the inefficiencies and inconsistencies plaguing the plugging and abandonment (P&A) sector of the oil and gas industry.
Recognizing the challenges faced by small P&A companies, Jimmy and Lee sought to create a company that offered a comprehensive, in-house solution. Instead of relying on third-party contractors, JMR invested in its own equipment and staff, ensuring control over every aspect of the business.
JMR's commitment to excellence didn't stop there. Understanding the fragmented nature of the industry, Jimmy and Lee pursued strategic mergers with complementary businesses. The merger with Rattler Services in 2023 expanded their capabilities to include Reclamation services, a critical final step in Plugging and Abandonment. In 2024, JMR reached a significant milestone via a merger with A-Plus P&A LLC and the subsequent acquisition of BCM & Associates, further solidifying its position as the largest pure-play P&A provider in the country, currently with 34 complete P&A spreads with operational bases in four distinct, regional markets. Today, JMR continues to uphold its founding principles of quality, safety, and service, delivering exceptional results to its valued clients.
